Following a 9 month R&D project, IThound, from the publishers of TechFinder and KnowledgeBank, welcomes you to our new and improved site.

IThound provides business professionals with free access to the UK′s most comprehensive source of IT and finance related white papers, webcasts, case studies and product information.

IThound now uses Autonomy contextual search technology, enabling our users to experience far greater, more accurate, search functionality.

Updated categories We have trawled through our previous taxonomy and added new sections for industry areas that are increasing in importance, whilst refreshing the old categories and making them more relevant to the UK marketplace.

Green business now features as a distinct topic area, to cater for the heightened demand for ‘green’ solutions to all business issues.

Over the coming months, we will be adding additional functionality to IThound, to further optimise the site for our users:

Category specific newsletters - We will be introducing weekly emails across a wide range of topics, which will serve to update you on any new research that has been published within your chosen category. Registered users of IThound will be able to manage their newsletter subscriptions by signing into 'My Account' and selecting the newsletters that are of most interest to them. New users will be able to select which newsletters they would like to sign up for when they register with IThound.

Related content - As you carry out your searches on IThound, our system will suggest other content within our directory that is also of relevance to your search, making comparing and contrasting solutions even easier.

Editor Recommendations - Every week, our editors will scour through the newly published content, and pick the research that they determine to be of most relevance to the IThound audience, providing an introduction to the topic and recommendations for further reading.

RSS Feeds - We will be implementing RSS feeds across all of the business categories on IThound, allowing you to keep up-to-date with the new research on IThound in an automated manner, without having to actually visit our site.
